1. Provide ARMC complete on-site law enforcement coverage on a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis. This shall include, but is not limited to: • Provide hourly patrols of all areas of the main campus, with emphasis on the Emergency Department and other points of public interface. This includes foot patrols of the hospital and Medical Office Building, and vehicle patrols through all lots, perimeter of the campus, and immediate vicinity. • Respond to emergencies and calls for assistance as soon as practicable. • Detect and investigate crimes. • Collaborate with Medical Center staff to maintain peace and order. • Provide traffic enforcement. • Reporting of major accidents resulting in great bodily injury. • Act as liaison with other law enforcement agencies, for purposes of determining agency jurisdiction and coordinating response to victims of crimes. 2. Assign marked law enforcement patrol vehicle to the Medical Center on a continual basis and for the term of the Contract. The law enforcement patrol vehicle will be used for: • Campus Patrol at the Medical Center • Transports of violent Behavioral Health patients, adolescents and arrestees. • As a visible sign of police presence. 3. Provide, supervisory oversight 24 hours per day, 7 days per week of employees providing services at ARMC by an on-duty patrol Watch Commander/Police Sergeant. 4. Designate one (1) Police Sergeant to act as point of contact and liaison to the Medical Center to coordinate program activity with Medical Center Staff and Administration. 5. Provide reasonable access to all divisions of the Colton Police Department including Administration, Investigation, Major Incidents and Traffic.
