The City of Pasadena is seeking the services of a qualified, experienced vendor to implement a direct install Laundry-to-Landscape Program (L2L) for Pasadena Water and Power (“PWP”) customers. The vendor will be responsible for conducting on-site technical visits for potential Laundry-to-Landscape customers, letting them know if a system would be feasible in their home and how to best format the system. This vendor would also execute the laundry-to-landscape (L2L) greywater system installations and provide maintenance, upon request. PWP hopes to install a minimum of 100 residential L2L systems through this contract, 25 annually. Each L2L system is estimated to save 17,500 gallons of water annually. By participating in the program, customers can offset their potable water consumption for irrigation purposes, by instead redirecting water from their laundry system to their irrigation.
