The Contractor shall perform Maintenance/Repairs for the following equipment: Milnor Dryer Model 6458TT1R (1) Milnor Dryers Model 58058TTI (3) American Dryer Model A0S115 (1) Milnor Washers Model 72044SP2 (4) Milnor Washer Model 42031SP001 (1) Parts replaced by the Contractor under this Agreement shall be new, factory manufactured, or of equivalent manufacturer quality. Contractor agrees to maintain an adequate supply and/or be able to obtain within a reasonable amount of time any necessary replacement parts in order to perform repairs and maintenance in a timely manner. Consumables and other supply items are hereby excluded. All parts that have been replaced become the property of the institution. CDCR reserves the right to purchase parts independently. A. REGULAR MAINTENANCE/REPAIR SERVICES Regular maintenance and/or repair services include any recurrent preventative services, such as inspection of seals and gaskets, filter cleaning and replacement, exhaust duct cleaning and maintenance, lubrication and maintenance of bearings, thermostat testing, belt tension adjustments, water temperature calibration, etc., that are needed to ensure the continued functionality of the equipment listed in this Agreement. Regular maintenance and/or repair services provided by the Contractor, if at the specific request of the Institution Contract Liaison or designee, shall be charged at the Regular Maintenance/Repair Hourly Rate, as specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. B. EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICES The Contractor shall provide all necessary emergency repairs and/or services upon request from the Institution Contract Liaison or designee. The Contractor shall respond within twenty-four (24) hours of the Institution’s request for emergency services. The time specified for services may be extended at CDCR’s discretion for a reasonable period of time, when there is an unavoidable delay to the Contractor, such as fire, flood, or unusual action of the elements. The Contractor shall inform the Institution Contract Liaison or designee of the delay and the unusual circumstances at the time services are requested. Emergency services provided by the Contractor, if at the specific request of the Institution Contract Liaison or designee, shall be charged at the Emergency Call Hourly Rate, as specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet.
