Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Nevada is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms and/or individuals to expand broadband infrastructure and internet service in unincorporated, under-served priority areas throughout the County. An “unserved priority area” is any area with no internet connectivity, or where internet connectivity is available only at speeds at or below 25 Mbps downstream and 3 Mbps upstream. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a Qualified List of firms that Nevada County intends to support in the following ways: assist selected firms with grant selection funding opportunities, and data collection such as but not limited to: survey results, priority areas, speed test data etc.
