The contractor must be able to provide interpretive services via phone 24/7, from the given language into English and from English into the given language (languages listed below), for officers in the field conducting investigations. All interpreter(s) must be certified in the language they are translating from and to English. The contractor must provide written certification of their translator(s) upon request. The Contractor must be able to provide translation services of written documents from a given language into English. The contractor must be able to provide a secure file share where officers can upload documents they want translated. Document translation requests must be translated within 30 days of submission to the contractor. CDFW will be able to record translation services conducted by the contractor, to be used as evidence in investigations conducted by CDFW, or for any other lawful purpose.
