Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is seeking a Contractor with extensive knowledge and experience providing meaningful Language Access Services (LAS) in written translation, oral translation, and oral/sight interpretation for the CDPH in educational, outreach, health, programs, benefits, administrative hearings and other public health initiatives to people with limited English proficiency, non-English speaking people, deaf, deaf blind, and hard of hearing people, ensuring language is not a barrier to access of services. Provide ADA translation and document remediation based on the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the State of California’s minimum Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.
