Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Administration Building and Mare Island Pump Station Buildings: a. All lawn areas will be cut, edged and weeded weekly. b. All landscaped areas will be weeded and maintained weekly. c. All ivy will be trimmed and maintained in a neat and orderly appearance, limited to ground cover only (no ivy should be left on structure walls), weekly. d. All lawn areas will be fertilized monthly and aerated twice annually. e. All trees with a branch size larger than 2” in diameter will be pruned as needed. All trees will be pruned annually. Trees will be pruned back far enough from all buildings to not touch or overhang the roof areas (Advanced Notice and Notice of Completion required). All suckers at the base of trees shall be pruned on a quarterly basis. f. The groundcover and fence cover on north side of building will be trimmed and edged to maintain a neat and orderly appearance, including removal of cobwebs. B. Field Operations Building, Parking Areas, Solano Avenue Gate Area: a. All landscaped areas (around all buildings, parking areas, and the gate area) will be weeded, trimmed, and maintained in a neat and orderly appearance weekly. b. All ivy will be trimmed and maintained in a neat and orderly appearance, limited to ground cover only (no ivy should be left on structure walls), weekly. c. All landscaped areas and trees will be fertilized as needed. d. All trees with a branch size larger than 2” in diameter will be pruned as needed. All trees will be pruned annually. Trees will be pruned back far enough from all buildings to not touch or overhang the roof areas, and not have contact with nearby fences (Advanced Notice and Notice of Completion required).
