TASK 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION Task 1.1: Project Administration Provide overall project management services throughout the PS&E phase including coordination with City staff, Caltrans District 2, and other stakeholders. Maintain project schedule, budget tracking, and deliverable coordination. Prepare and submit progress reports, invoices, and other administrative documentation as required. Task 1.2: Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with project stakeholders including City of Mt. Shasta staff, Caltrans District 2, utility companies, and other agencies as needed throughout the design process. Facilitate design review meetings and manage stakeholder input integration into design development. TASK 2 - FINAL DESIGN/PS&E Task 2.1: Preliminary Design The Consultant will prepare preliminary design according to Caltrans and the City of Mt Shasta's design criteria. The report will be reviewed by the City for concurrence, and appropriate comments will be incorporated into the Final Preliminary Report with written responses to all comments. Task 2.2: Conceptual Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) The Consultant will prepare documentation and submit project information for the Notice of Intent to invoke the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) NPDES Construction General and MS4 Permit. Task 2.3: Final Geotechnical The Consultant will prepare a design-level geotechnical design/materials report during the PS&E phase. This includes discussing the project with the design team, reviewing improvement plans and available geologic, fault, and soil survey maps. Task 2.4: Prepare and Submit 65% Draft Plans The Consultant will prepare and submit 65% Plans to the City of Mt Shasta for review and comment. This will include: Title Sheet, Typical Cross Sections, Key Map, Layout, Profile/Superelevation, Construction Details, Erosion Control/Conceptual SWPPP, Drainage Plan, Drainage Profile, Drainage Details, Construction Area Signs, Stage Construction, Traffic Handling, Pavement Delineation and Sign Plan, and Summary of Quantities. Other considerations by the contracted design firm are welcomed. Task 2.5 - Prepare Special Provisions The Consultant will prepare contract technical specifications for 95% and 100% submittals. The final Special Provisions will be ready for project advertisement by the City. Task 2.6 - Prepare Quantities and Estimate The Consultant will prepare cost estimates for the proposed project at the 65%, 95%, and 100% submittals. Quantities will be developed in accordance with standard Caltrans pay items.
