The objective of this contract is for the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) to secure the services of a consultant to provide support with the Interpretive Media at La Purísima Mission State Historic Park Project. Specifically, the contractor will support State Parks with facilitation related to Native American Coordination with appropriate Tribal representatives. La Purísima Mission State Historic Park is subject to the State Park’s “Reexamining Our Past Initiative,” and as such, requires a qualified cultural resources team to provide ongoing support, including facilitating meetings with Consulting Tribes, responding to data requests, tracking meetings and action items, and documenting Tribal input on the co-creation of interpretive themes and narratives grounded in Indigenous knowledge, stories, and experience. The contractor will provide payment to participating Tribal representatives for their cultural expertise.
