The purpose of the TGX Economic Empowerment Project (hereinafter referred to as the Project) is for 10 individuals aged 26 to 64 who identify as transgender, nonbinary, or gender expansive (TGX) individuals to participate in a 12 week workshop/coaching program to develop or redefine their brand while connecting to their authentic leadership style, mission, vision, values, and purpose while also creating opportunities to build aligned relationships that will amplify and support their business and economic endeavor. They will also engage in conversations relevant to TGX business/brand owners and challenges they face in today’s political, social, and economic climate. Furthermore, the Project aims to promote mental health services, reduce stigma, and increase the capacity of the public mental health system in Los Angeles County. It will enable this often-underserved population to access mental health services and empower other community members to do the same
