The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Bureau, is soliciting quotations for the lease and delivery of two (2) new, current production gasoline engine E-450 16-foot refrigerated box trucks with tuck-under lift gate as detailed in this Request for Quote (RFQ), to support the function and operation of five correctional facilities. Where applicable, each unit shall be equipped with all legal devices required for highway operation and meet all D.O.T., State of California, CALOSHA, California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations, and federal standards and requirements. The Sheriff’s Office is the second largest in California, covering over 7,300 square miles. It operates five adult facilities with a daily meal count of 11,500. The two (2) new E-450 16-foot refrigerated box trucks will deliver meals to inmates and transport bulk food throughout the County to all correctional facilities. This is a 12-month base lease with four successive one-year option periods from the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder.
