Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Stockton, herein after referred to as the “City”, is requesting proposals from firms or individuals, herein after referred to as “Proponent” to provide a multi-day Leadership Academy. The City is seeking a qualified consultant to present an academy that is focused on changing common perspectives of leadership, exploring successes in the public sector, and discovering different roles as a leader to the City. The City desires to present a multi-day Leadership Academy focused on changing common perspectives of leadership, exploring success in the public sector, and discovering roles as a leader. The academy should be taught in person during the fall/winter of 2023/24, offering at least the three (3) components identified below. The City welcomes suggestions for additional topics, components or course work. Prior Academies offered six (6) full day class sessions, including assignments completed outside of class, culminated in a capstone project and presentation, and took place over the course of three (3) months. Proponents are encouraged to arrange sessions with practitioners to engage with the class as well.
