The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) to solicit quotes for a Contract with an appropriate California Licensed, insured, and bonded General Contractor who can, directly or indirectly through a subcontractor, provide lead-based paint hazard remediation and construction services on multi-family residential dwellings. Bidders are advised that this RFQ is an informal solicitation and should not be construed as engaging in a formal competitive bidding pursuant to any statute, ordinance, rule, or regulation. The HUD Lead Hazard Reduction Program will address lead-based paint hazards in homes occupied by eligible low-and moderate-income households, with priority given to those with a child under six (6) years of age residing in the home. Applicants must reside within the disadvantaged communities in the First, Second and Fourth Supervisorial Districts of the County of Los Angeles. Subject properties are multi-family properties of five (5) or more units built prior to 1978. The scopes of work are based on the Lead Inspection and Risk Assessment Report (Appendix C) findings and finalized in the Scope of Work (Appendix B).
