The Weapons and Energetics Department of Naval Air Weapons Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake intends to seek sources for a lithography-based ceramic manufacturing (LCM) multi-material 3D printer in support of current and future capability for ceramic-based composite materials research, development, testing, processing, and production. The LCM 3D printer will produce ceramic composite test articles and small-scale proof of concept parts. This printer shall be a standalone, enclosed printer unit having two interior rotating vats, a route for material dispersion and cleaning, an integrated build platform, an integrated light source, relevant print file preparation software, and integrated GUI controls.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than the due date contained in this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number contained in this notice and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
