Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Work comprises replacing the existing functioning card access systems at the Palm Springs City Hall, Police Department Headquarters, City Yard and Fleet buildings with a new system that is expandable. The new work must be brought up to current codes, such as card reader locations and heights must meet ADA requirements. The new system will include access control that will have the capability to interface with the alarm intrusion system to allow the alarm to be deactivated with an access card as part of a future project. The City of Palm Springs utilizes 2100 access cards. The proposed system must provide application-specific software to incorporate all hardware proposed.
