The California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking proposals for K9 Patrol and Detection Maintenance Training services for up to twenty-five (25) Law Enforcement K9 Teams. These services shall include (25) 1-day Patrol Maintenance Training sessions, (24) 1-Day Detection Maintenance Training sessions, (2) 1-Day Patrol Certification Sessions, and (3) 1-Day Decoy Training Sessions per year. Most of these training sessions will be held back-to-back, with most weeks having two days of training in a row (Patrol one day, Detection the next day, etc.). Proposers shall utilize training methods accepted within the profession and designed to meet the POST Law Enforcement K9 Guidelines and California State Park’s K9 Policy (Lexipol 319).
