Description of Phase 1: Interior Locations Preparation, Abatement + Demolition Work This work includes but is not limited to: ● Locations: DT1.1, DT2.1, DT2.2, DT3.1, DT3.2, DT4.1, DT4.2, DT7.1, DT9.1, DT9.2 ● Preparation of Work - ○ Document/take photos of existing conditions including furniture locations ○ Develop a barrier plan that shows dust mitigation measures that will be installed at each location. ○ Move and cover furniture to protect from dust and debris ○ Set up containment at all locations to be monitored by Industrial Hygienist ● Abatement + Demolition - per Hazardous Materials Specification in Appendix B ● Hazmat Clearance Test by Industrial Hygienist Description of Phase 2: Interior Locations Documentation (+ Water Testing by Others) This work includes but is not limited to: ● Locations: DT1.1, DT2.1, DT2.2, DT3.1, DT3.2, DT4.1, DT4.2, DT7.1, DT9.1, DT9.2 ● Documentation of opened location - including photos, wall and finish assembly information, stud spacing and dimensions. ● Water Testing by Others (NOT TO BE PERFORMED BY GC) ○ See FOR REFERENCE ONLY - Full DT + Water Testing Package ● Containment take down and clean-up ● Note: It is the responsibility of GC to maintain watertightness of the facility during all exterior work. All exterior wall or roof materials removed during the day for testing is to be patched at the end of the day to prevent potential water intrusion. Contractor to obtain SFUSD Project Manager Approval prior to an exterior work commencing. Description of Phase 3: Exterior Locations Preparation Work, Documentation (+ Water Testing by Others) This work includes but is not limited to: ● Locations: DT1.2, DT2.3, DT2.4, DT3.3, DT4.3, DT7.2 ● Preparation of Work - ○ Document/take photos of existing conditions including furniture locations ○ Move and cover furniture to protect from dust and debris ○ Set up containment or drop sheets as required by the Hazardous Materials Specifications in Appendix B ○ NOTE: Architect/Waterproofing Consultant must be present during demolition of all exterior openings. Notify District PM + Architect 5 days prior to scheduled demolition. ● Demolition + Abatement - per Hazardous Materials Specification in Appendix B.
