The University of California, Irvine seeks to hire a Contractor to perform structured cabling and infrastructure installation that will be delivered by Job Order Contract (JOC). Work under the JOC will be limited to the following: All labor, materials, and equipment as well as technical expertise, supervision, and management to install horizontal structured cabling systems to support wireless access points and high-speed user connections. Provide necessary pathways, raceways, and cable support systems. Build out IDF rooms with necessary overhead racking and equipment racks. Install ISP / OSP fiber optic, copper backbone, and riser infrastructure. Install telecommunications systems grounding. Install electrical breakers, branch circuits, receptacles, etc., to support IDF room network equipment.
