A. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED DAILY The contractor shall provide daily service on the following days: Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. when CDCR/DAPO staff are present. 1) Restrooms/Break rooms a. Pick up trash and empty all trash receptacles; trash and paper shall be bagged and transferred to trash container/dumpster for waste disposal. Trash liners shall be replaced daily. b. Flush and check all toilets for proper operation. Any malfunction shall be immediately reported verbally to the CDCR Parole Unit Supervisor. c. Clean, sanitize, and maintain an odor-free condition of all floors, mirrors, sinks, toilet bowls, and urinals. d. Clean build up and fill soap dispensers. e. Furnish and replenish all restroom/break room supplies (including hand soap, paper towels, seat covers, toilet tissue, air fresheners, sanitary napkins and tampons). f. Spot clean the walls, partitions, doors, door frames and light fixtures. 2) Offices and Corridors a. Empty and clean all trash containers and ash trays and dispose of all trash and rubbish. Trash liners shall be replaced daily. Plastic liners are to be provided by the Contractor. b. Sweep or dust mops all hard-surface floors and vacuum all carpeted areas, including halls and any stairways. c. Damp mop floors with a disinfectant or germicidal solution. Floors and molding shall be maintained in a clean state, free of build-up, dirt and black marks. d. Remove spots and/or spills from the carpets, rugs, floors, and any stairways. e. Spot clean the walls, partitions, doors, doorframes, and light fixtures. f. Dust the tops of all furniture, cubicles, file shelves, counters, cabinets, and window sills (which are free of interfering objects). g. Remove finger marks and smudges from all glass entrance doors. h. Clean, disinfect, and polish drinking fountains to eliminate stains, streaks, smudges, and mineral deposits. B. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED WEEKLY 1) Restrooms/Break rooms a. Mop, wax tile floors, and, or vacuum carpeted areas. b. Clean walls. c. Clean vents and grills. d. Clean and polish all soap dispensers and metals. 2) Offices and Corridors a. Vacuum all carpets and/or rugs. b. Treat stainless steel fountains and sinks to eliminate stains, streaks, smudges, and mineral deposits. C. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED MONTHLY a. Dust or vacuum air vents b. Dust all venetian blinds and window ledges. c. Remove insects and cobwebs. d. Clean walls with special attention to baseboards. D. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED SEMI-ANNUALLY a. Strip and apply a new coat of non-slip wax to all hard surface floors and buff as necessary. b. Wash all interior windows, venetian blinds, light fixtures, walls, and painted surfaces. c. Steam clean carpets and/or rugs (using no soaps or detergents) to remove all stains and spots and treat for static electricity control.
