Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall provide one (1) attendant for the SRRA during the hours required in Item 5 above. B. Type of work includes: 1) Cleaning, sanitizing, and deodorizing restroom facilities 2) Stocking restroom facilities 3) Sweeping paved parking areas and sweeping/de-icing sidewalks 4) Cleaning up leaves and needles 5) Cut grass and general landscape maintenance 6) Picking up litter, washing tables, benches, and garbage cans 7) Remove graffiti 8) Transportation of, and legal disposal of, all garbage and other refuse 9) Administer recycling program C. Contractor shall provide uniforms to all employees, without cost to the employees. When on duty, shirts, pants, and shoes shall always be worn. Outer garments (shirts, vests, coats, jackets, sweaters) shall be pre-approved by Caltrans Contract Manager and will identify Contractor and the wearer as a “Rest Area Attendant”. This identification shall be placed over the left pocket area and be embroidered and sewn directly onto the garment. A pin or badge is acceptable. Uniforms worn by employees shall be neat and professional in appearance. D. Contractor shall be properly licensed in accordance with all existing State, County, City, and governing agency rules and regulations. E. All Contractor personnel working at the SRRA shall be able to communicate in effectively. F. Contractor’s personnel shall park in designated spots approved by Caltrans Contract Manager. G. Contractor shall be responsible for determining and locating dumpsites. In the event dump fees are charged, Contractor shall pay all fees. Dump fees are included in the monthly rate paid for maintaining the SRRA in Attachment 1, Bid Proposal. Contractor shall provide dump fee receipts with its invoices to verify proper disposal.
