Job Order Contract is a competitively bid, firm fixed priced indefinite quantity contract. It includes a collection of detailed repair and construction tasks and specifications that have established unit prices. It is placed with a Contractor for the accomplishment of repair, alteration, maintenance, rehabilitation, construction, etc., of roadways or other road related structures and or facilities. Individual projects are accomplished by the issuance of a Job Order against the Contract. Job Orders will be issued based on contractor performance, contractor’s liability to properly execute the workload and the availability of funded or approved projects. The Contractor, under the JOC contract, furnishes all management, labor, materials, and equipment, needed to perform the work for each Job Order project.
