The work consists of pavement rehabilitation, ADA access ramp, sidewalk, spandrel, and cross gutter improvements, adjusting manhole covers and water valves to grade, signal loops, and signing and striping enhancements including furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment, in accordance with the project plans as specified hereinafter, project specifications as specified hereinafter for the City of Whittier, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The Greenbook), 2021 Edition, Specifications of the State of California, Department of Transportation (Caltrans), latest edition, Caltrans Standards Plans, (latest edition) and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. 2014 Revision 6 (CAMUTCD). Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project and be responsible for obtaining a no fee excavation permit(s) for the project from the City of Whittier, Public Works Department.
