This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued to establish a contract for the replacement of the existing irrigation control system as required by the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer). The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced irrigation contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to replace the existing irrigation control system with a new, industry-recognized smart irrigation control system. The new system shall efficiently operate existing irrigation zones and components while enhancing water management, monitoring, and maintenance capabilities. All work furnished must be provided in accordance with contract specifications and terms and conditions set forth herein. This project includes, but is not limited to: • Removing and replacing the existing Tucor system with a new 2-wire control system. o Components include wall-mounted controller, single station and master decoders, and 2-wire cables for the irrigation circuit. • Performing repairs and replacements deemed necessary by SacSewer. • Configuring the new system for season-based custom scheduling. • Developing a new zone map identifying each irrigation zone, decoders, and control areas. • Fully testing the new control system to verify that all components and zones are properly functioning. o Demonstrating remote operation and providing on-site structured training for SacSewer’s staff.
