The selected firm will be expected to perform the following services, but not limited to: 1. Develop and implement sound investment strategies within state law and the City’s Investment Policy. 2. Manage the City’s portfolio with discretionary authority. 3. Provide monthly/quarterly/annual reporting of City funds. Reports will cover a range including but not limited to local, and national economy, the City’s portfolio holdings, composition and sector analysis, return, weight average of maturity, duration, performance objectives, and policy compliance. 4. Attend meetings with City staff, City Council, and other public meetings as needed (in person or virtual) and present or answer questions when asked. 5. Perform due diligence on broker/dealers and manage relationships with approved trading partners. 6. Annually review and recommend updates to the City’s Investment Policy. 7. Provide secure online account access for authorized City personnel. 8. Assist with audit-related questions and documentation as required. 9. Answer questions from staff and provide general guidance in related areas. 10. Coordinate with the City’s third-party brokers for safekeeping of securities. 11. Assist the City with cash flow/maturity analysis. 12. Provide credit analysis of investment instruments in portfolio and the creditworthiness of financial institutions. 13. Evaluate market risk and develop strategies that minimize the impact on the portfolio and maximize the portfolio’s performance.
