The purpose of this Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) is to serve as a framework through which pest management is defined and accomplished on California Army National Guard (CA ARNG) facilities and installations. The plan addresses elements of the program including responsibilities, health and environmental safety, pest identification, pest management, as well as pesticide storage, sales, use and disposal. This plan is to be used as a tool to reduce reliance on pesticides, enhance environmental protection, maximize the use of integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, and minimize cost. The objective of this IPMP is to provide guidance for operation and maintenance of an effective pest management program. Principles of IPM are discussed in the Pest Protocol Sheets (PPS) in Appendix A. The categories of pests addressed in the plan include: Vertebrates, Invertebrates, and Plants
