The Alhambra Unified School District is seeking proposals from community-based organizations (CBOs) to provide high-quality intersession programming for TK-6th grade students qualifying for the After School Education Safety (ASES) and Expanded Learning Opportunity programs on one (1) or more of the elementary campuses within the district. The program provides educational enrichment and recreational activities for students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) to 6th grades. The RFP will be awarded to one (1) or more organization(s) that best meets the ability to provide quality content, program management, and qualified staff to the AUSD Adventures program. AUSD is looking for an agency (ies) with a proven track record in providing expanded learning services to school districts. Furthermore, in the event that the winning agency (ies) are unable to fulfill the contract requirements thus, results in a cancellation of the original contract between the winning agency (ies) and the Alhambra Unified School District, a backup agency may enter into a contract with the school district upon mutual agreement without submitting another proposal. Proposals made in this RFP by the backup agency (ies) shall stay effective till the end of the contract term. The Alhambra Unified School District will act as the sole judge on whether the contract requirements are met to the district’s satisfaction. This RFP defines the program and the services that are being sought from the agency (ies) and generally outlines the program requirements.
