The City intends to select an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and utilize the embedded ‘best business practices’ to standardize business processes to the highest degree possible with minimal ERP software customization. The Project will take into consideration other City of Portland efforts that involve business process changes like the Phase II Revenue Bureau Project, and the combined sewer/water billing system replacement project (CIS Project).The City is seeking proposals from qualified ERP systems integrators, experienced in the public sector to: Review existing computerized financial, human resource and purchasing business processes. Work with City personnel to develop an ERP Request for Proposals that reflects the City’s business requirements and desire for practical process improvement.
