Specifications include, but are not limited to:The scope of the contract is to provide an Integrated Substitute Management System (ISMS) solution incorporating an Automated Absence Reporting and Tracking, Substitute Placement, and Integrated Voice Response in accordance with specifications listed under Product Specifications. The proposed solution must include both internet and telephone access for substitutes and staff of the District to report absences including, but not limited to hardware, software, and on-going maintenance and support services to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). LAUSD is a comprehensive Pre-Kindergarten through Adult Education school system encompassing 750 square miles. We provide educational services to over 700,000 students with over 900 sites. We average 450,000 substitute requests per school year and maintain an average per day substitute request of 2,500, with a low mean average of 1,900 to a high mean of 4,001. Our substitute pool consists of 4,500 active employees who are required to maintain minimum availability of 2 days per week. LAUSD employs a seniority-based call out system for non-request jobs, but honors teacher and school requests. Contracted items shall be in accordance with all the Terms and Conditions set forth herein; including adherence to the following specification.
