Specifications include, but are not limited to: Roseville Electric is facing multiple challenges over the next years. These challengesinclude planning for unpredictable load growth, and new legislative and regulatoryinitiatives.In order to plan wisely for this growth Roseville will be developing an IntegratedResource Plan. It is anticipated that the plan will evaluate both traditional generationresources as well as renewable resources. The IRP will assist in developing policies on avariety of issues, including reliability standards, renewable portfolio standards, resourceadequacy, greenhouse gas emissions, fuel diversity, risk management policies andfinancial goals. In addition, the IRP will examine demand side management initiatives.The IRP will include a forecast of load, inventory of Roseville's existing resources,review of applicable legislation and regulation, and identification of potential resources.Scenarios will be developed and evaluated. The results will be presented to the RosevilleCity Council and Roseville Public Utilities Commission
