A. Contractor shall maintain the following required licenses throughout the duration of this Agreement: 1) Structural Pest Control Operator License: The Contractor and agents of the Contractor performing work under the terms of this Agreement must possess and maintain a current State of California Structural Pest Control Operator license. 2) Qualified Applicator License (Category A and Category B): The Contractor and/or at least one of the agents of the Contractor performing work under the terms of this Agreement must possess and maintain a current State of California Qualified Applicator License, (Category A and Category B). 3) Branch 2 License: Contractor shall possess and maintain a Structural Pest Control Board, Branch 2 license. 4) Minimum Requirement: Any person performing pest control services for the awarded company, shall have a licensed "applicator", "operator" and/or "field representative" with the Structural Pest Control Board. B. Pest Control: The targeted pests include all pests such as mites, silverfish, earwigs, sow bugs, centipedes, bees, millipedes, ants, spiders, cockroaches, scorpions, fleas, and all other pests, excluding termites. C. Vermin Control: Elimination of gophers, mice, rats, ground squirrels, and any other vermin outside and within the building to be serviced. D. The Contractor agrees to use non-chemical or biological odorless or low odor type treatment. If this treatment is not effective, the Contractor shall move to the use of Tier 3 (least hazardous) herbicides/insecticides and then progress to Tier 2 and then to Tier 1, if necessary, to manage pests. The Contractor is responsible for adhering to this process and ensuring they are using the most current tier-rated herbicides/insecticides. E. At least seventy-two (72) hours prior to routine services, the Contractor must provide the CHP on site contact with material safety data sheets on any non-chemical or biological controls to be used in the treatment of pests.
