Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced insurance brokerage firms to provide Insurance Brokerage Services, as described in Section 5.1. San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA), managed by SJRRC, also requires Insurance Brokerage Services, as described in Section 5.2. The broker must be a fully qualified expert in insurance and indemnification, most importantly railroad liability, and shall be responsible for developing, marketing, placing and administering the insurance program to cover SJRRC’s and SJJPA’s activities related to passenger rail operations and to meet contract requirements related to several other projects. Insurance brokerage services are required for SJRRC’s and SJJPA’s insurance programs to include, but not limited to, railroad liability, property, terrorism, crime, workers compensation, automobile, management and company liability, public officials, employment practices liability, errors and omissions, fiduciary liability, and cybersecurity insurance coverage.
