Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Carlsbad (City) is searching for one or more innovative solutions to pilot at the city libraries and parks and recreation facilities to count visitors, monitor foot traffic/occupancy and determine estimated visitor duration. The solution will leverage hardware, software, smart technology and artificial intelligence to collect, analyze and report data on the usage of and traffic within city libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It is important to note that this is not a Request for Information (RFI). This is a solicitation with the expectation of qualifying solutions that will provide products and services to the City. The goal of this project is to identify one or more innovative guest traffic/facility usage analytics solutions to be installed at one or more city libraries, parks and/or recreation facilities as part of a six month to one year pilot. At the conclusion of the pilot, the City will evaluate the performance of each solution with the intent of selecting one solution for broader implementation.
