The County of Placer is soliciting proposals for Inmate health care services within Placer County Jails and Juvenile Detention Facility. Inmate health care services shall be inclusive of medical, dental, optometry, behavioral health services, and services required under the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) CalAIM Justice Involved Reentry Initiative. The County seeks Providers with demonstrable experience providing a comprehensive and cost-effective program in a correctional setting for an ADP of up to 1,000. The primary goal of the County in requesting these services is to contract for quality health care services in an efficient and effective manner at a cost that is reasonable to the County. The County intends to award a three-year contract (with two (2) year renewal options) to the Provider selected as most qualified in providing the medical health care services that meet the needs of the County inmates and juveniles.
