Key responsibilities of the selected provider will include: Service Coordination: Working closely with GGRC case managers and families to understand the unique needs and preferences of each individual and ensuring continuity of care. Qualified Respite Staff: Recruiting, training, and retaining skilled respite care staff who can meet the diverse cultural and language needs of the local community. Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Care: Ensuring that all respite services are culturally appropriate and accessible, with staff proficient in languages commonly spoken by GGRC families. Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining accurate records of all services provided, with regular reporting to GGRC to ensure compliance with state and regional center requirements. This initiative will improve access to essential in-home respite services, promoting family well-being and supporting GGRC’s commitment to equitable and inclusive care across San Mateo County.
