Specifications include, but are not limited to: Key components of the study development and final recommendations will include: A. Assessment of existing conditions and description of each community within the study area, with a focus on barriers to transit linkages, and bicycle and pedestrian mobility. B. Formation of a technical steering committee comprised of representatives of the departments that would be responsible for adoption and implementation of the linkages plan. (Metro will form this committee) C. Coordinate and lead community stakeholders in planning discussions focused on improvements to the existing street infrastructure and methods of accommodation and promotion of pedestrian and bicycle mobility. D. The final linkages plan will provide: - An assessment of the constraints and opportunities of the existing street network within each community in the study area, with a focus on pedestrian and bicycle linkages to and from Union Station - A prioritized list of improvements for improving connections to Union Station for each study area. - Identification of bicycle and pedestrian routes from each community to Union Station. - An order of magnitude cost estimate for the linkages projects
