The Commission is proposing to release Request for Proposals (RFP) to award contracts to seven (7) Local Organizations and one (1) Statewide Organization to conduct advocacy, training and education, and outreach and engagement activities on behalf of Immigrant and Refugee populations, as authorized by the Commission at its meeting on November 21, 2024. Each successful Proposer must demonstrate that it has the personnel and organizational capacity to effectively carry out a contract of the scope and magnitude of this RFP. The successful Proposer must describe how it meets the minimum requirements, including the depth and breadth of experience working with immigrants and refugees. The intent of this RFP is for contracts to be awarded to Local Organizations to work directly with the immigrant and refugee populations in areas that they serve where there is the highest concentrations of immigrants and refugees. Therefore, proposals involving subcontracting to other non-profits or for-profit organizations for advocacy, training and education, and outreach and engagement services will not be allowed.
