Topanga Beach – 18720 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265 Primary Tank • Remove/pull burned telemetry cables running from Lifeguard building to the Orenco control panel and primary tank that were burned during the Palisades fire • Abandon old conduit lines • Excavate for installation of new 1.5” or 2” conduit, depending on size of conductors. • Remove and haul away old, damaged wiring • Install two new electrical conduits 36 inches deep and approximately 275 feet long in each direction for a total of 550 feet. • Saw cut road where necessary and haul away debris, (Directional drilling is acceptable, however contractor is responsible to ensure no damage to underground wells or tanks is done when using drilling) • Install road plates to allow access during construction. Steel road plates must be installed on the lifeguard access way at the end of every workday. The service road must be accessible when work is not being completed. • Install new wiring from underground junction box to Orenco septic control panel for main power and float controls • Install six (6) #6 wire totaling approximately 1,650 feet • Install four (4) #10 wire totaling approximately 1,100 feet • Install control wire for flow meter – 275 feet • Backfill with native soil • Repave asphalt road and parking lot, all soil over parking lot must be compacted at 90 psi • Ensure that electricity is running from the telemetry cables to the septic control panel • Ensure proper electrical flow by testing all wiring, tank controls and pumps for proper operation Recirculation Tank • Remove/pull burned telemetry cables from recirculation tank connecting to the Orenco control panel • Install new wiring from Orenco control panel to recirculation tank for pump power and float controls • Install four (4) #6 wire totaling approximately 400 feet • Install five (5) #10 wire totaling approximately 500 feet • Make all points of connections inside Orenco control panel and junction boxes within recirculation tank • Ensure proper electrical flow by testing all wiring, tank controls and pumps for proper operation
