1. Contractor to furnish all personnel, appropriate equipment and services necessary to collect, transport, store and dispose of abandoned and/or inoperative vehicles or parts thereof from at least two (2) highly visible illegal dump sites identified by the County of Mendocino and the Round Valley Indian Tribes (RVIT). a. APN 03333019, 23100 Foothill Boulevard, Covelo, CA 95482, 9.97 acres (see Attachment H - Maps) b. APN 03248003, 23389 Biggar Lane, Covelo, CA 95482, 10 acres (see Attachment H - Maps) c. Additional sites also on tribal land may be included if access is confirmed by both the County and RVIT, and if there is sufficient budget available. 2. Contractor shall provide these services only upon written authorization by County. 3. All work must be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, tribal, and local laws and regulations, as well as the requirements outlined below. a. All abandoned vehicles or parts thereof removed pursuant to the scope of work shall be disposed of pursuant to California Vehicle Code requirements. See Dismantler’s Handbook of Registration Procedures1. b. Handling, removal, transport, and disposal of hazardous materials should comply with applicable state regulations. Contractors should ensure proper containment, labeling, and disposal at permitted facilities, with documentation provided to the County.
