Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Bernardino Community College District is looking for a SUBCONTRACTOR to assist in the completion of work plan activities and outcomes for the Strong Workforce Program project titled – ICT Cyber Hub and Cloud Based Technology project - awarded to the Information & Communication Technologies & Digital Media (ICT & DM) Sector via the Regional Director Employer Engagement for the sector. The District needs support related to the planning, regional coordination and facilitation of the project activities as outlined below to ensure attainment of goals and metrics of the ICT and Digital Media Sector in the Inland Empire/Desert Region. The support will help ensure that all projects meet the needs of regional stakeholders and help to build alignment and encourage cooperation between faculty and colleges. The project has two main project areas – ICT IE Cyber Hub Centers and Cloud Based Technologies. The IE Cyber Hub Centers project began with a Round 2 Strong Workforce Project and included six colleges. In Round 4, the project expanded to eight colleges. The goal was to establish a regional cybersecurity support network that included various cyber activities including curriculum projects, summer camps, local & regional competitions, professional development & the establishment or expansion of cyber-hubs, labs or centers. Continuation will build upon our regional cybersecurity efforts by adding new certificates, degrees, labs & cyber camps, clubs & competitions. The project has been successful in creating new cybersecurity pathways including many certificates and two Associate Degrees. The Round 5 continuation will build on the success of the previous rounds and take existing efforts to the next level. It is important to recognize that the participating colleges are at different points on the spectrum as it relates to establishing wellrounded cybersecurity pathways and support services at their colleges. Each college will need varying degrees of support and intervention to ensure success, specific activities may vary based on the college needs and demographics.
