The bidder is to provide fully qualified, trained, and skilled contract resources to provide Mechanical Contractor Services work. The scope is primarily union affiliated represented contract work specializing in; • Experience working in “live” Powerhouses • Experience working at facilities with NERC access requirements • Internally managed machine shop and capabilities of the shop • Welding capabilities/personnel experience • Working in remote areas and/or inclement weather • Specialty or familiarity with specific types of equipment such as Large Valves, Gates, Turbines, Generators, Bearings, Piping, other • Any work experience including major Hydro Turbine work, including disassembly and reassembly of a Hydro Turbine Generator • Experience in refurbishment of large babbitt surface fluid film bearings, including planning and executing repair work on a wiped bearing • Engineering capabilities • Drafting capabilities Requirements: ▪ ISNetworld Registration: The bidder shall either be registered with ISNetworld (ISN) with A or B score, or willing to register with ISN prior to work award and maintain a current safety rating of A or B throughout the duration of the contract. ▪ Labor Compliance: Bidders must be union-affiliated or demonstrate compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
