The City seeks to retain the services of a qualified Proposer to deliver public-facing programming at Hummingbird Farm. The content of the programming must promote organic farming, biodiversity, drought tolerant and native plant gardening, sustainable landscaping and agriculture, pollinator gardening, low toxicity weed control, permaculture, composting, sheet mulching, soil conservation, installation and maintenance of water-efficient irrigation systems, low impact land management (e.g. bioretention), and knowledge of invasive species. The selected grantee shall accomplish these objectives by conducting educational programming on environmental stewardship and facilitating multilingual, culturally appropriate community involvement in maintaining the garden's unique features.
