The Housing Authority of the City of Napa was established as a separate and legal, public non-profit entity that provides subsidized housing assistance to low income families. It is primarily funded by the Federal Government and is subject to the rules and guidelines of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide decent, safe, and sanitary housing for low-income families and/or individuals. The Housing Authority has entered into an Annual Contributions Contracts (“ACC”) with HUD for approximately 1,200 vouchers. This includes both tenant-based and project-based forms of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program assistance. Units are located throughout Napa County in the following communities (collectively, the “Service Area”): City of Napa City of American Canyon City of St. Helena City of Calistoga Town of Yountville Unincorporated Napa County
