DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The scope of work includes verification and installation of fiber optic infrastructure between Substation #1, Residence Hall 3 (RH3), and the Housing Project No. 2 BDF. The contractor shall first test and confirm the usability of existing air blown fiber (ABF) cells between Substation #1 and RH3, reporting and addressing any faults prior to proceeding. Upon confirmation, a 48-strand ABF cable will be installed from Substation #1 to RH3 BDF via MH#189, terminating in a fully populated 72-port fiber panel with LC adaptor barrels. Additionally, a new 24-strand OSP single-mode fiber cable will be installed from RH3 BDF to the Housing Project No. 2 BDF, with LC-style terminations at both ends in fully populated 48-port fiber panels.
