Specifications include, but are not limited to: Grooming Services: Grooming services on 25 ½ miles of OSV trails in accordance with the specifications outlined in Exhibit A Attachment 2, Grooming Guidelines. Grooming services are billable based on actual miles groomed, regardless of the number of passes necessary to complete the job properly. Services will be billed on a monthly basis with all dates, locations, trail segments, miles, hours, and service types fully itemized. Commencement: Prior to the commencement of grooming for the season, Contractor shall submit a written request to commence to the PM and GOM. Requests must be accompanied by a summary of conditions present on each of the trail segments. Each summary must include multiple snow depth measurements taken on the corresponding trail segment. Contractor will include photos showing the snow depth measurement being taken. Absolutely no grooming may occur until approval is granted in writing by the PM or an authorized designee. Requests to commence will neither be accepted nor considered until the minimum snow depth of twelve (12) inches is exceeded. Trail Maintenance - Hazard Removal: Removal of downed trees, limbs, and/or other hazards present on the trail. Supporting photographs must be taken and submitted to the PM by e-mail within 48 hours of completion. Hazard removal services will be billed on a monthly basis with all dates, locations, times, and work hours fully itemized. Large Hazards: When large hazards requiring additional resources are present on the trail, or when the Contractor becomes aware of any hazard adjacent to the trail, Contractor shall clearly mark these hazards until removal can be accomplished. If a hazard cannot be removed before grooming concludes for the day, Contractor must immediately report it to the GOM. Contractor shall work with the GOM to establish plans for removal of these hazards. Trail Marker/Sign Installation: Installation, maintenance, and removal of trail markers and signs associated with the OSV trail system. Markers and signs will be provided by the GOM as needed.
