Reviewing of the Department’s Code of Safe Practices Job Safety Analysis Plans Hazards, procedures, and limitation of working on slopes Knots Anchor systems Rescue equipment Onsite practical application field exercises o Practical should include lowering/raising “victim” and student demonstrated Pick-off. o Rappeling using Brake Bar Rack and Petzl I'D. o Set up Lowering/Raising and Belay Systems. o Conversion of lowering systems to raising systems.
