Specifications include, but are not limited to: IFB# 10167928Page 34of 505.SERVICES REQUESTEDa.The Contractor will deliver the requested equipment to the work location or OFD’s main office, as identified byDWR, and pick up the equipment upon DWR’s notification to do so.b.The Contractor will be responsible for all costs incurred and associated with maintenance, repairs and adjustments necessary to keep the equipment in safe operating condition and good working order.c.DWR will have the right to terminate or cease payment should the Contractor fail to maintain the equipment properly. Time lost because of mechanical breakdown of the Contractor’s equipment will not be paid by DWR.d.DWR will load and unload its equipment for transport onto the Contractor’s trailer.e.DWR’s Contract Manager will direct the day-to-day work activities of the Contractor’s operator.f.DWR will pay a four-hour minimum on all service requests. There is no guarantee as to the number of hours requested during the term of this Agreement.g.Upon award of the contract, the Contractor must submit an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), and Multiemployer Worksite Policy to our Health and Safety Office. Prior to commencing work, the Contractor and DWR staff will engage in a safety meeting to review procedure and perform a jobsite hazard analysis (JHA).h.For purposes of work performed under this Agreement, straight time is 8 hours per day. Overtime is any time worked in excess of 8 hours per day and for services performed on Saturday, Sunday or California State holidays.i.Current State observed holidays are; New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
