The San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA) and the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) announces its intent to seek proposals from nonprofit organizations interested in providing legal services to older adults and adults with disabilities living in the City and County of San Francisco. SF-HSA is seeking legal services in two specific areas of practice and intends to fund TWO separate programs under this RFP: 1)Health-related legal services for older adults and adults with disabilities. This program is intended to ensure greater access to health services and benefits. 2)Life planning legal services for LGBTQ+ older adults and/or adults with disabilities. This program is intended to increase access to assistance with preparation of legally valid life planning documents such as medical decision maker documents, asset dispositions, and disposition of decedent remains.
