GENERAL:
This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any information or costs incurred. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued.
PURPOSE OF THE RFI:
The 144th Fighter Wing (FW) is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to meet our requirement for a Hangar Door Repair. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
BACKGROUND:
The 144th Fighter Wing is seeking repair services for the hangar doors in BLDG 100. The automatic doors on the right-hand side are no longer functioning and in need of various repairs. Repairs may include the following:
- Replacing steel cable
- Replacing motor and chain
- Realigning doors
- Lubricating and cleaning door tracks
- Inspecting and testing door functionality
