The Hamilton Avenue Capacity Upgrades Project proposes to upsize the storm drain line on Hamilton Avenue from Center Drive to Rhodes Drive. The existing pipe on Hamilton Avenue vary in diameter from 12-inch to 21-inch pipe. This project proposes to replace the existing system, pipes varying from 12-inch to 21-inch, with a dual storm drain system of 24-inch and 36-inch pipe, and 48-inch pipe throughout Hamilton Avenue. A new segment of 36-inch storm drain pipe is proposed on Center Drive, starting at Hamilton Avenue going towards Dana Avenue. The bid alternate scope of work proposes to upsize the existing 12-inch line to 36-inch on Alester Avenue. Storm drain system improvements include installation of catch basins, manholes, wye tee, gate valves, junction boxes, modifying existing junction box, trench restoration, and CCTV work. Contractor is responsible for preparing plans (traffic control, dewatering, logistics). Work includes, but is not limited to signing, striping, tree trimming, and concrete work.
