A. Demo existing 40-ton Carrier chiller and all associated accessories. The existing chiller shall become the property of the contractor and shall be removed from the site and disposed of per Titles 8 and 24 of the California Code of Regulations. B. Furnish and install a new Carrier Chiller model 30RC-04060-4-1-0 (or approved equal) with copper coils or approved equal, install all new valves, control valves, wires, controls, accessories etc. associated with new chiller, reconnect new chiller to existing DDC, modify chilled water supply and return pipes as needed to connect to new chiller, insulate pipes to match existing, Modify existing housekeeping pad to accommodate new chiller. New chiller to include factory energy management module, freeze protection, 10KA SCCR, remote connectivity and GFI, suction line insulation, VFD high efficiency fans, non-fused disconnect, BPHE, Low sound AeroAcoustic fans features (options). C. Replace all existing Bell & Gossett 91GPM @ 89 ft Chilled water pumps by furnishing and installing new VFD drives, check valves, triple duty valves, suction diffusers, and shut off valves on suction. discharge line with new, new gauges and thermometers, flush the system and add new chemical treatment pot and provide a report of system water treatment. D. Furnish and install a new expansion tank, manual and automatic air vents, air separator and all accessories associated with the system. Size off all equipment to match existing. E. Connect new chiller and pumps to the existing DDC system and set all parameters.
